Halobacterium broth (Halo)


Détails

For 1 liter of Halo:
250 g of NaCl.
20 g of MgSO4.7H2O.
3 g of trisodium citrate 2H2O.
2 g of KCl.
5 g of yeast extract.
5 g of casamino acids.
2 g of L-arginine.
50 ml of Tris-HCl, 1M, pH7.4.
Complete to 1 liter with water.

For Halo-agar:
Add 15 g of agar per liter of 20% diluted broth.

Autoclave.
