For 1 liter of NBY:
10 g of polypeptone.
5 g of meat extract.
1 g of yeast extract.
Complete to 1 liter with water.

For NBY-agar:
Add 15 g of agar per liter.

For NBY-top agar:
Add 7.5 g of agar per liter.

Autoclave.
